ABOUT

ESW is an international network that supports chapters and benefits members. The University of Akron's ESW Chapter plans to bring sustainability through engineering and other efforts to the Akron and Northeast Ohio areas. Our Organization focuses on three key sections; Design, Educate and Build.

Design and propose projects dealing with renewable energy, recycling, water conservation, sustainability, and topics alike.

Educate

Educate through K-12 outreach programs, by having professional speakers lecture to students about sustainable topics and take occasional trips to sustainable companies and sites.

Build

Build a network of students at The University of Akron who share the interest of creating a more sustainable/reliable future through engineering and other efforts. No idea is too small or too big, the sun is the limit when it comes to ESW Akron.
